Cumberland — GREAT FALLS, Mont. — Barbara (Kreger) Raaum, 67, of Great Falls, passed away Nov. 22, 2010, at a local hospital.
Barbara was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Warren, Ohio, to Jack and Dorothy Kreger. She was raised in Cumberland and graduated from Fort Hill High School in 1961. She attended business school there and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper in Maryland, Texas and Great Falls.
She enjoyed being a Navy wife and traveling to Japan, Maryland and Texas for duty.
She was an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, ATVing and snowmobiling. She was a member of the Great Falls Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed all kinds of arts and crafts, especially ceramics and oil painting.
She is survived by her husband, Hank Raaum of Great Falls; daughter Laura and husband Shane Raaum of Great Falls; brother Sam and wife Dee Kreger; and sisters-in-law Barbara and husband Ken, and Charlene and husband Dick, all of Great Falls; daughters Charlotte Chiotti of Pennsylvania and Lisa Raaum of Washington; sisters Jackie Sachs of West Virginia; Sandra and husband Dave Engle of Maryland; Donna Holt of Ohio; and Vicky Emerick of Texas; her grandson, Mason; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Tom; and her mother-in-law, Florence.
